October 22, 2007
I. OctoberFest: Wednesday, October 24th from 8am until 2pm.
a. We took volunteers and supply sign up forms.
b. We will be in between the Geology/Chem building and the Loftin Student Center.
II. Additional TShirts: Miguel presented some clever tshirt designs, and we are asking people to please supply some more for the next meeting.
III. MAES National Symposium- Those who are going are reminded that they need to please write at least two paragraphs on "what I learned".
IV. Upcoming Events:
a. Northwest S.A. Growth Summit- October 31, 7:30am-4pm at the Northside Activity Center. For more information please contact Rosa Maria Gonzalez or Emilio Gonzalez.

II. Budget: Account Balance is estimated at $400 between MAES and SACNAS
III. Polo Colors: Aqua received 1 vote, and grey received the rest of the votes.
IV. Additional TShirts: We took some color scheme ideas and asked for more to be brought to the next meeting.
V. MAES National Symposium- Those who are going are reminded to please submit their resume.
VI. Upcoming Events:

I. Treasurer's Report:
a. Estimated $300 profit from the Antojitos Fundraiser.
b. Thank you to everyone who helped!
II. Science Extravaganza: Wednesday, October 33, 2007.
a. Mr. Alaniz volunteered some of his groovy gadgets for the booth.
b. Took a list of volunteers.
III. Shirts: Thanks to student life for granting us funds for shirts.
a. Vote: 5 for t-shirts: 6 for polos.
b. Need to follow-up with price check of approved vendors.
IV. Octoberfest: October 24, 2007
a. We will be selling Chicken fajita tacos again.
b. Suggestion by Miguel (VP): Get sponsors to donate food by presenting a formal letter to managers two weeks in advance of the fundraiser (by October 10th).
V. National Symposium- In New Mexico, those going are Emilio, AJ, Sandra, Libna, Jacqueline, Sebastian, Roger
VI. MESA study center- now open! Need a place to study? CAC 144 is open during most day hours.
Notice: The next meeting will be October 15, 2007 in rm CAC144 at 2:30pm. There is no day classes at SAC on October 8th due to Columbus day, night classes will still be held.
